Although we are not a “Blue" state, Democrats in Oklahoma will vote for a Democratic Presidential candidate Tuesday, February 5 in our presidential preference primary election. Oklahoma voters will participate in a primary election along with 21 other states on Super Tuesday.
Democrats have already indicated their preference in the Iowa caucuses and in last week's New Hampshire primary. Attention is now on the upcoming caucuses in Nevada and primary election in South Carolina.
With only 23 days remaining before we reach Super Tuesday, Democrats agreed not to compete in Michigan, because its early primary date violates party rules intended to limit the number of state contests before February, and protect the traditional vetting roles of Iowa and New Hampshire
