The Delegate Battleground

Winning 51% of the votes in the Nevada caucus yesterday, Hillary Clinton claimed yet another victory towards the road to the White House. As we get closer to Super Tuesday, winning the battleground for delegates is becoming more important as our candidates try to win the majority of the total number of 2,026 votes needed to win the nomination.

To win delegates, Democratic presidential candidates must capture at least 15 percent of the votes in each state. Each candidate is awarded delegates in proportion to the amount of votes they receive in each district and statewide.
